Bodhisattva

I am what the spirit is on a physical path
Like an astute physicist in a spiritual lab
I meditate doing the math to fill in the gaps
To find the meaning of life is my primary task
Too loud upstairs
I had to shift gears just to hear me quiet
Hearing silence clear
My mind moves at speeds beyond required
Divinely inspired
I’m atoned in body and soul so I’m rewired
Proper understanding of the being in-standing
Begets proper thought; Proper speech demands it
At critical mass proper action expands it
Yielding proper livelihood with proper effort to man it
With proper mindfulness I keep my core in balance
Through proper concentration I embrace all challenge
Now I’m casually strolling the forbidden heights
To my soul’s delight
From this vantage point all of life is precise
I’ve heard the poem all of life must recite
I’ve seen the dream end and the scenes blend
I’ve seen what seems then
A bond of love between life and death
I’ve seen God in the presence and the absence of breath
I’ve seen God cry in despair and in the laughter of mirth
I’ve seen love and hate singing in harmony on earth
It all makes sense, like air to the chest
An heir to the rest this is music to the ears
Like a ray from the sun I’m just briefly visiting here
