Hey, what's up?
I consider myself a man of faith. My faith is in the Grand creator, The One with Whom the buck starts and stops in this whole creation thing. I’m not talking about God because God is a concept that immediately connotes opposition like the Devil. This alone is a limiting means of attempting to describe the Grand Creator. Even my labeling it as such is but a narrow and limited view of this Primordial Progenitor. To be honest any attempt to try to explain this entity/non-entity would be like trying to point at the wind to show it to you.
That being said, it’s pointless to say more but share my experience with this force. Trust me, it’s been a strange and very disorienting one. It has required me to live and think in a certain way that is diametrically opposed to everything I knew prior. I’ve essentially thrown my life to the wind trusting I will land where I’m supposed to land safely. In a way, I’m cheating because I met the wind maker.
It’s been quite the roller coaster ride, to be honest, but I’ve grown tremendously in the years since my encounter with this Thing. This week’s song Laconic is a snapshot of the growing pains I’ve experienced in learning to trust The Unseen Hand that has never ever disappointed me. Life has hills, valleys, and plains. Life requires one to experience all these vicissitudes in order to keep living. However, the quality of the experience is one’s choice. My faith is teaching me to engage in this life thing in high spirits no matter my present physical or mental condition.
May you encounter the eternity encompassing the mundane.
Enjoy!
